September 2013 Newsletter

Hello and welcome to our September 2013 eNewsletter.

As you know from our last newsletter, my wife Kay, daughter Sophia and I ran in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival earlier this month. Kay finished the 42km Marathon in 4h:53mins and Sophia in 6h:09mins. Unfortunately I was unable to compete inthe Marathon due to injury, but managed to complete the 9km Bridge Run in 1h:29mins. I am a very proud father and husband… especially proud of my daughter Sophia who, despite carrying an existing injury into the event and having to walk the last 20km, managed to complete her first ever marathon entered. We will be gradually rolling out further updates and as we have a huge amount of content to convert, update, refresh and remove, you may see some issues appear from time to time. If you do come across any issues, we would appreciate if you could send us a message through our online contact form and include any error messages or steps you carried out to experience the problem. The main features of this first round of updates includes: Redesigned interface based on a “classic” design from earlier previous years. Easier access to the website and content for users of tablet/mobile devices with “responsive” templates (ie.the new site will automatically adjust to the best size for the device you are using) Introduction of additional advertising slots, not only to help with the running costs of the website, but also to provide additional opportunities to those wishing to gain exposure to our 150,000+ visitors every month.
