        Hi,

Hoping someone can help with an issue we have with a cillit rainwater filter. This filter appears not to be working. The tank water is still coming out very dirty / smelly, and when I check the filter it’s not dirty at all.

The plumber has not stritcly installed it correctly. The instructions say to install the filter between the pump and the interconnection device. He has instead installed it AFTER the interconnection device. But it still intercepts all water exiting the system, if you know what I mean… seems to me that this means it still ‘should’ work?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated – this cost us $500 to install, and we’re pretty sure we are getting no value out of it at the moment.

        thanks.

Why don’t you call your plumber again. It seems his fault. He has not installed it correctly. If you have paid so much to install it then you have every right to ask for it. To know what actually is giving this problem.
