backflow problem and also looking for bamboo floor

I have a back-flow problem in my kitchen area and i am also interested in installing bamboo flooring but when i asked to one specialized company regarding it then they said until the drainage problem will be resolved you can’t go with the bamboo flooring so what should i do to get rid of this problem .please help.thanks in advance.
