I am trying to replace the entire waste and overflow, including the bathtub drain flange, for a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub. The problem that I have run into is that the tub is an older model tub, and the drain hole in the tub is only 1 3/4 inches wide. The treaded part of the drain flange (that goes into the hole) is 1 5/8 inches wide. I can not find a replacement drain flange that will fit the tub. I have tried replacement kits, I have contacted Jacuzzi, and I have contacted all of my local plumbing supply stores. I am finding it hard to believe that there is not a replacement waste and overflow kit (with a correctly sized drain flange) that exists.
If anyone has any knowledge of where I might be able to find the correct parts for my tub, I would be very appreciative.
