      Did a man named Thomas Crapper invent the first flushable toilet?

      NO Thomas Crapper was an engineer from Jolly old England BUT did not invent the toilet flusher.

      I think you should read up on the history of plumbing which appears in Plumbing Mechanical magazine

      Some flushing devices were used OVER 300 years ago.
      Did you also know the 1st “plumbers” were women who lead wiped the leaded joints in olden Roman times?
