Help. I took out my bathtub stopper to clear out the drain. I had a frozen trap and had to vacuum out the water and allow it to thaw. I now cannot get it to set back in. I have a barrel stopper that sits on linkage and connects to a lever. For the life of me I cannot get it to fall down enough to work. I put a bottle brush and it goes down further then the stopper has to go. I have tried spraying it with cooking spray to lube it up but it still wont seat. Im all out of ideas. is there a gasket in there that could have been dislodged or something?

Put the stopper in first and then drop the rest down the overflow. Some of them are ajustable, try putting it in different ways it will drop, I will send you web site to look at the pop up. http://www.deabath.com/index.html
