I’M INSTALLING A WHOLE HOUSE HUMIDIFIER THAT CONNECTS TO THE FURNACE AND REQUIRES A DRAIN. Since I don’t have a drain close to my furnace, I’m thinking of inserting the drain hose into the wall outlet where the washing machine drain hose goes. Would this work?

Should be OK just keep end of hose about 1″ abve the washer drain pipe so if washer drain backs up it wont get into the Humitifier.
