Please help! We bought a 10 year old home last fall and every once in a while when we flush the toilet in the basement bathroom the discharge/ejector process will go on and on…today it lasted for over 30 minutes. We’ve tried unplugging the pump and plugging back in, we’ve tried re-flushing. Is our pump going bad, or is it something fixable??

Sounds like check valve is sticking open and letting water come back and making pump run are you have a float swith sticking, is there a valve in line if so when it running like that close valve and see if it stops, make sure you open it back up, if that dont work contact pump co.
