        Does anyone out there use a GPS unit to get latitude & longitude for drilled wells? If so, what unit do you use? What do you like/dislike? When did you get it? How much? How accurate is it? and anything else you think is important about it.

        We’re considering purchasing two of them, and are looking for some guidance.

          I don’t drill wells, but I use a GPS for hunting and fishing. Most of these units nowadays are pretty inexpensive and the ones that are WAAS-enabled are accurate up to 3 meters, which is more than good enough for locating your position on any accurate map.
