Hello! When we run the water in the laundry room, the kitchen drain starts “gurgling” and a horrible smell came out of same area. Rest of plumbing appears to work great (no smell from running kitchen water, etc.). We are hoping to sell our home and have someone who wants it. I am so hoping this is not a “Big One!”
Can anyone out there give me some idea what would cause this? We don’t use the laundry room (til recently had well water). Just realized this problem existed.

Sounds like your drain pipes are partly stopped up, have them cabled out.
