So i put some old noodles down the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink…and both sinks promptly backed up! I removed all the pipes from the U bend back up to the sinks and they are clear. So either the garbage disposal unit is blocked or the pipe that leads from the u-bend into the wall is blocked. When the u bend is disconnected, water seems to flow fine through the garbage disposal unit, so it must be the pipe downstream of the u bend right?? If so, is it just a simple snake job?? Please advise.

You can cover other sink strainer and try a plunger if that dont work use a cable.
