What is the best way to stack multiple wax rings. I have seen it done both ways with the plain wax ring on top of the wax ring w a sleeve and vis-a-versa. What is your opinion of the best way to stack them?

I never did that before because you have a chance of clogging up outlet. If you do that because collar is low then get one of those closet flange extenders.

Thick wax rings are now made so you don’t have to stack rings.Check at a local plumbing shop in your area for one.Forget about a closet collar extension ring,you don’t need one.
