Just wondering what ot expect for an estimate to tap into an existing sewer line in my bathroom for a stand up shower. There is already a toilet in the bathroom and I believe the sewer line is going directly where I want the shower about 3-4 ft away. Also is this easy enough for a do-it-yourselfter or stay away

You need a Permit for the job. You have to have the tools and know how to cut and install the pipe, it has to be vented and installed in a working condition. It will have to be inspected by a Plumbing Inspecter.
