        Hi.

I need to “un-glue” an 1 1/2″ ABS pipe from it’s 90deg. elbow. Both are tied with standard yellow ABS cement.
What is the best method to do that ?

I have practiced myself in the garage by cutting the pipe flush to the elbow edge and then used a dremel to
cut slices in the part to be removed (on the inner-side of the elbow). It worked but it takes a while and the inner-surface of the elbow could be better !

        Thanks
        Rob.

There is no way to effectively “unglue” ABS (or PVC) pipe. You have to cut it out and either glue in new fittings or use hubless type connectors.
