removed old toliet and wax ring and discovered wax was set directly on the cast iron pipe. The pipe seems to have a lead sleeve inside, down to 8 inches. The old toliet was screwed to the floor. I want to install a flange. How do I do this? Dis out lead?. Install a PVC insert flange? a cast iron one? appreciate any help. [email protected]

Are you sure you dont have a lead closet bend

On lead pipe you usually install a brass flange solder to the lead and screwed down to the floor.
