Hello we are doing a renovation in nj in a house.Does anyone remember how mant toilets can go on a 3″ Existing sewer line.Their are 3 bathrooms.one was existing and staying on first floor. The 2 new ones are upstairs.Im a little worried that inspector might want 4″ going to first toilete in house.anyway we were going to just cut in 2 3″ys picking up are upstairs bathrooms. What do you think.I remember a while back a inspector making us change a whole sewer going to street from 3″ to 4″ on NEW construction.

Retired Plumbing. I believe the post said how many toilets can go into a 3″ existing sewer line.

The safe move is to ask an inspector for your area.
