I asked on the Plumbing site about the use of Hydrochloric acid to clear the Apricot nuts in my drains, & received no answer.
I emptied a two litre container into the drain & nothing seemed to happen so I left, on returning I found the cat & my bird & some meece dead.
Would they have died from the acid?

Take the animals to the vet.
Maybe someone killed them with your boning rods
