Our garbage disposal doesn’t turn on at all and when running the diswasher it backs up into the sink. I tried to press the reset buttton but water started to leak from it. Any suggestions?

As soon as you said, “water started to leak from it”, you said the magic words. Replace the disposer and all the problems will be solved.
