My toilets have never flushed completely after the family has showered, or soon after a good rain. I know I may need to redo the field, but when digging around the septic tank to get a look, water seems to be running back from the field to the tank area.

Will a new field solve the problem if I bury it deep enough with a steep angle? Or do I need to raise the tank, add a sump pump system, or ask for city sewer?

        Any help would be appreciated.

eatch, I suggest that you contact a licensed Professional Engineer who is experienced in the design of on-site sewage treatment systems. A site visit will be required to determine the appropriate technology to be used on your specific site. JWA
