On occasions we have a sewer smell collecting in our equipment room on the lower level. We have injection pits to pump waste water out but no smell is coming from there.

It is random and can go as long as two weeks without any smell. We have flooded pipes hoping for a crack to appear. Nothing yet. The smell will filter through floor up to the communications room on 1st. floor.

Any ideas or do you know of any companies that can monitor this problem for some type of solution.

Mark, have you checked the seals and gaskets on the ejector pit lids? You say the are located in your equipment room. Are there fans of any type in the room that while running create a negative pressure in the room? A bad seal may be allowing sewer gas to escape the pit when these fans are in operation.
