We’ve had two sewer back-ups this year. We’ve blocked off the shower with a simple device in the drain. If we have company, it can be easily taken out. I need to find something to put down in the toilet to block off sewage in case of a back-up in the system. It needs to be easily taken out if overnight guests arrive. Is there any device out there for this situation. We always get the sewage because we’re the lowest house in town on a gravity system.
        Thanks.

See a licensed Plumber to find out if a Reflux valve can be installed in your house drainage. This product prevents Town sewage from reversing into your line.
