I have a yard that drains right into the house at the back of the lot.100×300. I have heard that we can move the rain water from the center of the yard to one side with a french drain. How do you install one please?

p1pe, I suggest that you contact an engineering firm in your area that is skilled in the design of drainage systems, and have them design an appropriate drain system for your property. Too many variables exist on specific projects to give detailed instructions on this forum on the design, and installation of a drainage system to meet your needs.
