Please Help!!! I have a toilet that will not flush. I took the toilet off and checked the drain pipe and that seemed fine. The toilet is not clogged. If you pour water in the bowl it flushes fine so I think that it is a vent problem, If so what do I do to fix it? Do I have to go to the roof to fix it or can I fix it inside the house. Thanks in advance.

I would check to make sure enough water is in the tank and flapper or ball is not dropping too soon.
Dosn’t sound like vent problem because water siphoned from bowl ok
          when poured water into it.
