One of the toilets in my home has been making a “running water” sound on occasion as if refilling. I turned off the supply valve to it and noticed that within 8 hours or less the tank was dry. Does this indicate a bad flapper valve? I have Fluidmaster innards in it, about 5 years old.

          1- Bad “flapper’

          2- Pitted Douglas Valve

3- Leak by the over flow tube threads at the base of the Douglas valve

IS THIS A multiple choice Question?
