trying to figure floor slab elevation with an existing septic tank, I know about the 1/4 per foot slope. my question is: How much room to I need between the flange and the bottom of the curve fitting into the waste stack. This measurement will determine how many course of block needed above ground grade elevation. I,m looking at the farthest distance of 47 feet from tank.

i am not sure which measurement you are requesting, but the minimum distance from the floor to the bottom of the lateral pipe at a toilet is 19″.
