My hot water heater is leaking slowly & has been for about 2-3 days. Do I need to get it fixed or replaced? It was here when I bought the house & the previous homeowners said that it was 6yrs old. (This makes it 9-10+ years old.) We still have plenty of hot water. Is this dangerous? What should I do?
HELP!!!! -
Replace the water heater. There is no economical way to repair a leak and after 10 years it has given good service. It is only dangerous if the leak becomes so large that it floods your house.
