        What can I use to color the water in the toilet and tank to see if it is the toilet that leaks when flushed.

        lots of food coloring? or any other suggestions.

          I use this highly concentratd industrial dye that is great for these types of problems.

          Go to a plumbing supply store and ask for dye BE prepared to pay upwards of $85 per pound BUT a little bit goes a long long way Good luck

            Whatever you use, be sure it does not permanently stain whatever it is leaking onto.
