When I run the water in my bathroom sink, an odor comes from the drain. The odor stops when the water stops running. The trap seems fine. Can anyone help?

Could be in the overflow in the sink. I had a customer who had the same problem, I recommended trying a product called Bio-Clean and it solved the problem. This product is sold by plumbers. If you want to try it look up Bio-Clean on the internet.
