Whenever we run the washing machine the basement drain backs up. It gets to a point when we can not run water into any of our sinks or shower drains through out the house. The toilet can not even be flushed. We have ran a snake in the sewer line from the house to the street. We can not find anything. Does anyone have a solution?

Snaking will NOT restore the full diameter of sewer or drain pipe.

Picture the soap scum build up on the pipe snaking only removes solid blockages roots rags etc not scale build up.

Also if your lines have soil or other soft debris a snake can pass through it like placing your finger in sand as soon as you pull your finger out it closes up.

What should be done is a water jet cleaning to remove the crud build up on the inside of sewer piping.

As they jet the lines the high pressure water will flush it away

Then you can have these lines video inspected to make sure it was properly performed.

          Good luck.
