OK 1 bathroom would equal about 6 FU

Kitchen just a sink would be 2 FU

      Dish washer 2 FU

      Clothes washer 3 FU

Depending on local codes this is about average FU’s Then you must take the pump head into consideration (head = height of sewer) Bell & Gossett now offers a complete line of effluent pumps with sumps as well as Federal and Steven’s

A FU is a fixture unit 7.48 gallons and this how you base the capacity of your sump

Why not check out this site http://www.masterplumbers.com/plumbing/plumbviews/pump.html

Go to http://WWW.zoeller.com and look for the Qwik Jon system http://www.zoeller.com/zcopump/products/homeimprove/qwikjon.HTM will take you there. Click on the instalation instruction in the lower left of the page. Also look for basin and ejectors on the sight. kenz@zoeller.com
