        weil-mclain calls for the domestic
        expansion tank on the cold inlet side before the mixing valve !!
        y on the cold line?? y before the mixing valve?? im not real clear on this.

          Mr. Filler, WOW I have no idea why they would require this tank to be so isolated?

          This doesn’t make sense to me either as we know the water will expand when heated BUT to have it on the cold water supply is a new one.

          I took the Weil Mclain course H.E.A.T and for the life of me I never saw this practice.

          I would be very curious what “engineer mentality” thought of this brain child and WHAT is the reasoning behind this?

          Did these fine specification also call for a bronze tank as we both know ferrous metals dont last very long on fresh.
