We are seeking information on a seperator or other device to be installed on the drain line in our laytex paint clean-up area.

Industrial wastes from abattoirs (slaughter house LOL), chemical plants, metal platers, dye works and similar wastes may not be discharged to a sewer system without an industrial waste permit of the department of public works.
There are several types of interceptors that can be used for separating the latex BUT you had better check with the local code authority 1st which ones in your area are approved.
The problem is to find out how the county handles waste treatment and if this “latex” is considered hazardous waste materials and that would determine the means of treatment and disposal. Good Luck and CHECK with the local DEP REPRESENTATIVE and get it in writing.
