I need to clean the bathtub drain filter, but I cannot figure out how to get the stopper out. It is a little round one with a “ball” on top and you just turn it to plug up the tub. I have tried turning it and get no results. Any ideas??

Buy/Rent a WET DRY Vacuum and let it suck out the hair etc.

Hold the large part of the drain while unscrewing the ball with a pair of pliers. There is a slotted bolt under the ball that frees the drain so you can remove it and clean the cross bars. A vacuum cleaner is useless since the hairs are wrapped around the bars.
