Just installed new floor in my bathroom. Reinstalled toilet using new wax ring. Flushed normally first few times. However, next morning, when flushing, bowl fills with water and then recedes very slowly. Could the wax ring be partially obstructing the drain pipe? If so, will a snake be the best method to clear this obstruction?

If you used a wax ring with a built in plastic horn, it’s possible the horn has dropped into the drain pipe (I prefer wax rings without the horns for this reason). In the same situation as you describe, I’d take up the toilet to insure nothing is lodged in the drain (flooring scraps etc.). You can also check the toilet outlet for anything stuck inside. Reset the toilet and try it. If still not operating properly run a toilet auger thru it.
