I am thinking of buying a second hand Paul Bocuse oven (originally made by Rosieres in France); as there seems to no longer be any Australian distributor or, it seems, easy access to spare parts, I wondered if anyone had been involved in service calls for such ovens and if you have any comments?

Go to the http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk and type in the model you are looking at and at the same time you can see what people have written in about this particular brand of product. To bring this model into Australia and resell it would require the Importer to present it to the Gas Testing Authority to ensure it complies to the Australian regulations etc. Unless there is a large enough market for this branded product it would be an uneconomic venture to import to resell.

Hello Simon. We are getting a new kitchen and are selling our Rosieres cooker. See it at http://www.jansoldkitchen.blogspot.com and get in touch if it’s of interest to you. It’s in Bondi Junction, Sydney. Cheers. Heather
