      I’m looking to convert to a gas water heater. I have a partial crawl space and partial basement. What is the maximum distance I can vent it to the outside with 1 turn? Any advantage/disadvantage of using a short until vs a tall unit? Jim

      Jim. By your post it seems that you are not a Gasfitter or even a licensed gasfitter. Call one!!!!

      Oh heck you jokers fair is fair I only asked him/her to provide me some details so I could evaluate the situation.
      I am not nor will I ever be willing to aide someone who is not suitably qualified to undertake gasfitting work – but I will now and hope to always be the same willing to help those who are in need – even if it is steering them in the right direction.
      So please do not prejudge me no more huh lol.
