I will be moving to a new place in the next couple of weeks. The landlord has said that my roomates and I can paint anything we want to make the place more our own. There is a wonderful clawfoot bathtub except that it is an awful shade of brown on the outside (not the part where the water runs in). Is it possible to repaint it? If so what kind of paint do you need to use?

Jenn, you just go ahead and paint that old tub with whatever kind of paint your gonna use on your walls, they really don’t get that hot or ever get wet on the outside (the floor might get wet but not the outside of the tub). You’ll enjoy that thing, they’re real deep and hold lots of water! jack
