Outside wood boiler and propane boiler hookup?

What are the negative factors in running the wood boiler output directly into the propane boiler with no heat exchanger? The system is a two zone copper and aluminum baseboard.
Your input would be most welcome!

Are you using the wood boiler to preheat the LPG Boilers incoming water supply? Or return piping?

To preheat the incoming system water. I’d like the wood furnace and lpg boiler in series. With the lpg boiler only firing if the wood furnace is not keeping up.
