        All,
I have a problem, I think. I have a 50 gallon Ruudglas Pacemaker water heater and yesterday I replaced about 3 feet of copper piping coming out on the hot side of the water heater up to a 90 degree elbow…I had a leak at the elbow. I turned off the heaters and drained the water heater before doing this. After all was said and done, I am now not getting much hot water at all. How do I check the thermostats and elements to see if I somehow screwed these up. Please, the more detailed instructions, the better. Thanks.

Did you turn EL. back on.
Set bottom therastat first and then set top one. You need el. tools to check el. Set bottom to normal and top hot.
