I have just had installed a new solar system. Old Braemar now outside and when tipped on side to empty residues, top fell off and a little grey/blue fiberous insulation came out.
Unsure of age of old system. How do I quickly and easily ID substaneous?

No. I never heard of that eq. before so why should I tell you something I dont know about and mislead you.
