It appears since then I am getting a squeeling sound when using the hot water. You can adjust the flow to quieten it however this can be time consuming and wasting water. the hot water service was only replaced a few months ago. Can anyone HELP. 2 Feb 2007 at 10:41 am #297471 Retired plbg1Participant One thing is high press. Under the fix turn the stop down to throddle the water. Also if the washer has a bur on it it will whistle. If you put in a bevel washer try a flat one. You can also cut water presss. at PRV. Let me know.
