My outside faucet is 12″ copper to 1/2 PVC. It was broken a week ago at the elbow and connection to the copper pipe. It is enlarged at the base where the pvc is connected. I need to remove the broken pvc and add another obviously. How do I do this? Does it need to be heated to be removed from the copper pipe? [email protected]

Cut out old pipe and get a coupling and pipe and fittings and glue and cleaner and put back together folow directions and watch your eyes with glue and cleaner.
