      to which line you connect the ice maker water line, hot or cold. On my neigbor house they connected to the hot line is that correct?

      Don’t know how you Americans do a lot of things but down here we always connect ice makers to the cold water lines after fitting a fliter in the line as well – I cannot se the point or the worth in connecting an icemaker to a hot line then asking the icemaker to chill it down again – would be a great waste of energy it would seem.
      But like I said I don’t understand a lot of the ways things are done or why they are done the way they are in America even after travelling and working there for a while.

      Who ever hooked up your neighbors ice machine was wrong it always goes to CW line, tell him to change it he probably di d it himself. are it was a mistake.
