      Hi,
I have a house that’s about 10 years old, but have only been here for 8 months. A few weeks ago when using the master bath shower a very loud groaning/vibrating noise began. It also occurs when using the cold water in the sink. It lasts anywhere from a few seconds to 30+ seconds. I followed the noise over to the toilet area, but don’t know what to do. Any advise would be appreciated.
      Thanks
      Diane

Sounds like you have a bad washer in the ballcock which supplies the water to the toilet. Either put in new washer are replace ballcock, it also could be stop under toilet. Turn off water at stop and turn on water at some other faucet and see if it stops. Your flapper could be leaking too and water comes out of tank and released the ballcock and make noise. Put some color egg dye in tank and see if it comes into bowl if so then replace flapper, let me know.
