My toilet occationaly blocks and the water wont go down -I have put my hand in and manualy plunged it which works , but it also wont fill the bowl sometimes to? If it is blocked what can I do to fix it besides getting a plumber out as I am short on cash at present?

Make sure tank is full up to mark, make sure 1/4″ tube is in the 1″ overflow tube, make sure holes in rim are clean, use coat hanger to cleanout holes, plung bowl and if it keeps up take up bowl, rent a cable and go to it are call a Lic. Plumber.
