I am trying to add a basement 1/2 bath and move a floor drain. I am wanting to know if I can tie both lines into a line that goes from the main stack to a current floor drain and seal the old drain off. Also, I want to know if I need to add a vent or not.

If it is 3″ are bigger you can conect to it, but you need a vent. Check your local code, let me know.

The pipe I am tieing into is 4″ cast iron. I need to add two y’s into it going different directions. Do I have to use cast iron or can I use pvc y’s and what do I use to connect them to the pipe? Thanks.

You can use PVC fittings, if your code alows it.
