      Note – I am a novice regarding these things.
      The copper/metal pipe connecting the plastic (white) drainage pipe to the Kitchen sink rusted/broke away. My question is whether one would recommend me to replace it or hire a professional plumber.

      If you are mechanical inclined to do that kind of work and do it according to code then do it ,if not hire a Lic. Plumber. Let me know.

      Art – thx for the reply.. I went ahead this morning and fixed the sink.
