Bathroom faucet – low pressure – hot side

I completely remodeled my 1/2 bath about 2 months ago. I replaced the old faucet with a new Pegasus faucet. For about the first few weeks, whenever the hot water was turned on to a certain point, a loud screaching would result that last until the faucet was either turned up a bit or down a bit. Since then, this problem has expired, but I have lost considerable pressure on the hot side. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Take it apart and see if you have dirt or something else in it.
