have gas mains hot water system very low presure from all hot water taps but good presssure from all cold water taps mains to heater unit is good

Check your valve at CW connection and see if you have full volume of CW entering system, might be clogged up , let me know. Always use Lic. Plumber for all your Plumbing work, and always take out permit.
