My hot tub has a hairline crack in a PVC elbow. Since there is no straight pipe. it would cost hundreds of dollars in parts to replace that section. My guess is that the crack was caused by water freezing in the pipe. Is there a good way to seal that leak?

You can try to glue it but I dont think it will hold with pressure on it. You need to make sure no water in the fitting, get some PVC cleaner and clean it real good , let it dry and put glue over the crack let it dry and put more on it, if it dont hold you can get someone over to weld it with pvc rod. You might try box store they might have something to fix it. Let me know.
